Unexpected: Emersyn Potter Leave Mom’s House
Emersyn Potter became a teen mother when she gave birth to her baby boy, Mateo Ramirez. The Unexpected cast member and her boyfriend, Mason Ramirez, had a lot to learn about taking care of a baby. They also had to deal with family issues while navigating through parenthood.
Emersyn’s mother, Erica, was also a teen mother. So, she wanted something different for her daughter. She didn’t want her child to follow in her footsteps.
However, Erica wasn’t able to break the cycle. But, she still had rules put in place for the new mom. She didn’t want Mason staying in the TLC celeb’s bedroom.

The TLC celeb recently gave an update on her relationship with her mother. According to the Unexpected star, she never went back to live with Erica. However, she does visit her every few weeks. But, she doesn’t consider herself to have a close relationship with Erica.
Emersyn also spoke about her father. Viewers met her stepdad, Sai, on the show. But it seems like her biological father didn’t make the cut.
According to the TLC star, she did film some scenes for the show with her father. Yet, they didn’t air those scenes. However, she said that he is active in her life. She even said that he is like her best friend.
Unexpected Celeb Talks Future Plans
Emersyn Potter is still with Mason Ramirez and raising baby Mateo together. Their son is almost walking. But, it seems like their baby boy could get a sibling in the future. The young mom wants to have one or two more kids someday.
Emersyn is also still very close with Mason’s family. The Unexpected reality star even thinks that they are fantastic. So, it looks like she is still living with his parents.
Her mother, Erica, wasn’t comfortable with her living there. She didn’t think it was a safe place. But could she have changed her mind?
Emersyn may not have planned to become a young parent. But, that isn’t stopping her from achieving her goals. She wants to get into the real estate business in the future. Yet, if that doesn’t work out, she would also like to get into massage therapy.
