Fans of “Unexpected” first met Amaya Georgeff during Season 7 of the TLC series, where viewers watched her navigate teen pregnancy, relationship struggles, and becoming a young mother alongside her then-boyfriend, Jose.
Since the show aired, Amaya has continued sharing updates about her life online, including details about her new relationship with her girlfriend, Jahnay.
Before appearing on TLC’s “Unexpected,” 16-year-old Amaya Georgeff had previously told her mother, Misty Georgeff, better known as Mama G, that she liked girls rather than boys. As a result, Mama G later revealed to TLC cameras that she did not go too in-depth with the birds-and-bees talk because she did not think it was necessary.
