Misty “Mama G” Georgeff is adjusting to a new– and “too quiet”– normal now that her teenage daughter Amya, Amya’s baby daddy Jose and the former couple’s child Sammy have moved out of her home.
Mama G shared the update on her family’s living situation earlier this week on TikTok, where she confirmed that, “Amya and Sammy have moved into their own place.”

Mama G went on to confirm to fans that, “Jose has also moved out.”
“He is not living by himself, he is with family,” she said.

As The Ashley previously told you, Mama G revealed earlier this month that despite her close bond with Jose– and the fact that she was paying for nearly all of his living expenses– his mom wouldn’t allow her to become his legal guardian. Mama G said she suspected Jose’s mom refused to sign guardianship over to her “because of taxes.”
Mama G also shared with fans that she and Amya and Jose were able to work out a schedule so that Sammy doesn’t have to be in childcare while they’re at work.
“ … On my days off, I have Sammy over for my two days off,” she explained. “[On] Amya’s days off, she has him– so, three days a week she has him– and then, Jose has him on his days off, as well. So, everyone’s doing good, everyone’s healthy.”
While she acknowledged that the new situation is “a different environment for Sammy,” she insisted that it’s actually been more beneficial for her grandson, as “he gets more quality one-on-one time with whoever he’s with.”
Mama G noted that Amya, Jose and Sammy moving out has been “hard” for her and that her door is open if they ever need (or want) to move back in.
“I love them dearly, but it has been hard for my own selfish reasons,” Mama G continued. “But I am happy for them, and I want nothing but success for them and I hope that they continue to chase their dreams and whatever that looks like for them.”
Mama G concluded her update by assuring fans that everyone in her family “is on track” for the goals they’ve set for themselves.
